Here’s something brand new out of New York, the guys are called Folk & Stress, they’re being cosigned by my man Dro aka H2Dro from Burnitdown Music Group (shout out to Al as well of course). The first time I heard about Folk & Stress was when Dro told me about them during CMJ 08, we were even thinking about doing a show together but my schedule didn’t allow it. However Dro described them as “two white kids that spit that crazy shit”. He said they were the true essence of hiphop and rap beyond all the marketing, video plots and business plans.
