Only a week before the release of his newest mixtape masterpiece “Victory 3″ (Hosted by Chamillionaire), DJ Kitsune was honored by being nominated for “Best International Mixtape DJ” at Justo’s 2006 Mixtape Awards.

As a nominee in this new category, it is now possible to vote for DJ Kitsune on http://www.themixtapeawardsonline.com until December 6th.

The award show will take place on Dec 7th at Harlem’s legendary Apollo.Unfortunately, Orpheus “Justo” Faison, mixtape pioneer and founder of the “Justo’s Mixtape Awards” and the label “Jus Music Group”, died in a car accident in May 2005. May he rest in piece. The organisation team of the awards and the staff of his label are now doing the best to continue his legacy and we wish them the best of luck and would like to thank them for their efforts.

In cooperation with U.S. Cellphone Carrier Sprint/Nextel and Focuson Music & Mktg., DJ Kitsune Mixtapes will now be available for all Sprint/Nextel cellphone subscribers.
